This project allowed us to experiment with new ideas and create a distinct ecosystem separate from the MC Ark lineage. A New Prehistoric Worldview: Dinosaur Saga introduces a completely new bestiary, featuring a curated selection of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. We've focused on creating a more focused, story-driven environment where each species plays a specific role in the food chain. The AI has been rewritten from the ground up, leading to more nuanced behaviors, unique herd dynamics, and predator-prey interactions that feel fresh and unpredictable. How to Launch Your Dinosaur Saga: Embarking on this new adventure is a simple process. Since this is a separate project from MC Ark, you can have both addons installed without conflict. Step 1: Secure the New Addon Click the download link for "Dinosaur Saga" on this page. You will receive a .mcaddon file. This file contains everything needed for this new, standalone experience. Step 2: Import into Minecraft Locate the downloaded file. The easiest way to install it is to double-click the .mcaddon file. A system prompt will appear; select Minecraft as the application to open it. The game will then take over, automatically unpacking and placing the necessary files in the correct directories on your device. Step 3: Activate the Saga Once imported, you need to apply it to a world. Go to the settings for your chosen world. Navigate to the 'Behavior Packs' section and find "Dinosaur Saga" in the list. Click 'Activate'. It is vital that you also go to the 'Resource Packs' menu and activate the "Dinosaur Saga" resource pack to ensure all the new dinosaur models and textures load properly.
