Beyond the dinosaurs themselves, the addon introduces a complete gameplay system. You can extract DNA from fossils and amber, incubate eggs in bio-laboratories, and even clone and tame dinosaurs to create your own prehistoric sanctuary. Advanced mechanics include a dinosaur mood and loyalty system, custom items like electric fences and tranquilizer guns, and challenging bosses such as the Indominus Rex. Step-by-Step: Download both files – You will need the .mcaddon file (contains both behavior pack and resource pack). Some versions also require a separate .mcpack for sounds. Open the .mcaddon file – Tap or double-click it. Minecraft will launch and automatically import both packs. Create a new world – Go to "Create New World". Enable the packs – Scroll down to the "Add-Ons" section. You should see "Jurassic Extinction" under both Behavior Packs and Resource Packs. Click "Apply" to activate them. Turn on Experimental Features – In the world settings, go to "Experiments" and enable: "Holiday Creator Features" "Custom Biomes" "Upcoming Creator Features" (if available) Increase tick speed (optional) – For better dinosaur spawning, set /gamerule randomTickSpeed 6 or higher. Play! – Once the world loads, dinosaurs will begin spawning naturally in appropriate biomes. Note: Always use the latest version of the addon from the official creator. Mixing with other major addons may cause conflicts.
